    Fixed

    • Taskbar: auto-hide residual edge stays hoverable when maximized desktop apps fill the screen (no longer buried under them); exclusive/borderless fullscreen can still cover the bar. Start open temporarily raises a buried bar.

    Changed

    • Taskbar: debug logging includes auto-hide AllowAutoHide transitions, mouse enter/leave on the strip, animate begin/complete, fullscreen bury reason (maximized/framed/exclusive-like), and session geometry when auto-hide turns on.
    • Updates: dedicated update dialog with HTML release notes (UTF-8), Install now / Not now / Skip this version, and download progress in the same window (no Yes/No/Cancel MessageBox).

    • Taskbar: right-click empty bar → Auto-hide taskbar (checkable; saves settings, applies all monitors, pulses reload).

    Fixed

    • Taskbar: Auto-hide actually slides the bar off-screen (wired AutoHideElement); Start open keeps primary bar visible until the menu closes.
    • Taskbar: Start opened with the Win key (or closed without the orb) now updates auto-hide — shell notifies the bar via startVisibility; bar also resyncs menuOpen when it starts.
    • Settings: live reload retries when settings.json is briefly locked after config Apply (so toggles like auto-hide apply without restarting the bar).

    • Taskbar: Set colour on task buttons (background wash, font colour, icon override) by application or window title; Classic menu Set colour (T), Shift+right-click, rules in %LocalAppData%\win711\task-colors.json.

    Fixed

    • Taskbar: colour wash covers the full rounded pill (behind the indicator), not only the icon/title strip.
    • Taskbar: Set colour uses a custom Change Icon dialog (path, Browse, multi-pass icon grid) instead of shell PickIconDlg; icons that shell cannot re-load by index are cached under %LocalAppData%\win711\icons\.
    • Taskbar: Set colour default opacity is 15% (was 40%).
    • Taskbar: Set colour menu accelerator is T (Se&t colour), not S, so it does not lose to Size on Classic mirrored.
    • Taskbar: Set colour opens on the title scope when a title rule wins; Clear removes that scope then shows the application rule if one remains.

    • Bluetooth tray helper: bar starts win711-bt-tray when bar.startBluetoothHelper is on (default), hides the stock Bluetooth Devices icon, and Shift+right-click on our icon opens the OS Bluetooth menu. Settings Tray tab checkbox.
    • win711-bt.exe (CLI) and win711-bt-tray.exe are required dist/stage peers and ship in Setup (self-contained like other managed peers).

    Changed

    • Bluetooth tools split into console win711-bt.exe (CLI) and win711-bt-tray.exe (tray/flyout); shared core library. win711-bt --tray / --flyout starts the tray and returns.

    Removed

    • Settings: Task buttons combine-mode dropdown (only NeverCombine existed; grouping stays fixed one button per window).
